Local Parks Getting a Makeover in Puerto Morelos
We love seeing Puerto Morelos grow in ways that benefit the community—and the recent upgrades to the local parks in Villas Morelos I and II are a great example of that!

These parks are where local families gather in the evenings, where kids play after school, and neighbors catch up under the trees. Now, thanks to the local government, they’re becoming even more welcoming.
In Villas I, 30 new white-light lamps were installed, and the garden areas now glow with soft LED strips. Over in Villas II, 35 lamps were added and LED lighting was placed on the wooden bridges, making evening strolls safer and more enjoyable.

It’s not just about aesthetics—it’s about creating beautiful, safe spaces for the people who call this town home. And as the parks get some extra care and attention, they’re also becoming more appealing to visitors who want a glimpse of real local life.
Next time you’re exploring Puerto Morelos, consider a walk through these neighborhoods. You’ll see a side of town that’s full of heart.
Let’s keep supporting projects that make our community better—for everyone who lives here, and everyone lucky enough to visit.
