How it all began.
Guests often ask, “How did Abbey del Sol come to be?” As Minnesotans seeking a warm winter escape, we reluctantly agreed to visit Puerto Morelos on a friend’s recommendation, despite initial reservations about Cancun. That simple “yes” led us to fall in love with the quaint town. Within days, Tiff was house hunting, and before leaving, we found the perfect home, naming it “Abbey del Sol, The Abbey of the Sun.”
With Efrain (Jin) Ceballos managing the property and collaborating with Nancy, our shared passion for creating beautiful, comfortable spaces turned into what Abbey del Sol is today. We hope you enjoy our properties and fall in love with Puerto Morelos, just as we did.
